I celebrate the ways our human paths have continued to intersect in profound ways during the past few years of the global pandemic. Wise congregations build a culture of belonging in this brave new hybrid world, because humanity gets farther when we travel together, whether we gather in-person or remotely. I believe congregations have a once-in-a-generation chance to revisit some of our norms and patterns that don't serve us as well as they used to, and I'm excited to be in ministry during this era.

I’m passionate about Unitarian Universalism and its creative potential to be on the leading edge of this personal and social transformation. I’ve experienced it, I’ve witnessed it, and I’ve participated in it. Today, with society hurting from many ills, I know that Unitarian Universalism can be a powerful source of healing and hope as we help bend the arc of the moral universe towards justice.

I've retired from full-time ministry, glad to have a stalwart new generation to whom I can entrust the holy work of our faith. I'm available for occasional pulpit supply, regionally or remotely, and some consultancy.

I believe congregations have a once-in-a-generation chance to revisit some of our norms and patterns that don’t serve us as well as they used to, and even though I’ve retired from full-time ministry I remain excited to serve congregations in part-time and possibly remote ways.
